A breakfast bomb is the best morning beverage on the trail. It’s hot, caffeinated, and packs a nutrient punch with vitamins, minerals, protein, and calories. Delicious. Great for thru-hikers.
2 cups hot water
2 packets Starbucks VIA
1/2 packet Carnation instant breakfast (vanilla is best, any will do)
2 T dry milk powder (I like nonfat, but full fat NIDO is great too)
Combine all ingredients in a nalgene bottle and shake! Drink and enjoy
